You may find the need to retire certain passes. Easily archive these passes and, if necessary, void them to prevent any further use.

What does archiving a pass mean?

Archiving a pass simply moves the pass template into the archive folder. It's an effective way to declutter your current pass offerings without deleting historical data.

How to archive and optionally void passes:

  1. Select the Pass for Archiving: Navigate to the pass you wish to archive on the passes list page.

  2. Choose to Archive: Opt to archive the pass, which will remove it from active listings but retain its data for your records.

  3. Voiding Option: While archiving, you'll see an option to 'Void all passes'. Selecting this will deactivate all passes associated with this template.

Note: The only way for the user to access this pass again is through a new "Pass Download Link" You can access the new link by re-issuing the pass.

When you void a pass:

Customers will see a visual change on the pass. (i.e Inactive QR Code, or set to expired in the user's wallet). We recommend that you inform customers about the changes to their passes to maintain trust and transparency.
