👋 We're excited that you're on your way to creating passes on Badge! We guarantee that no other platform makes creating and managing passes easier.
Remember that you'll have to design and publish a Pass Template before creating passes for users. The Pass Template serves as the foundation for all passes generated under it, defining their structure and appearance.
However, we also understand that half the battle with designing the Pass Template is finding ✨inspiration✨. Because of that, we've provided the following examples:
Loyalty Card (with Offers)
Description | Front of Pass | Back of Pass |
Acquire and retain loyal customers with a Loyalty Card that features weekly "takeover" campaigns, which combine push notifications and temporary pass changes (e.g., Cover Image, Barcode, etc.). As an alternative to having a single Loyalty Card with "takeover" campaigns, have customers install two passes with a single Pass Download Link:

Some of the above examples make use of Dynamic Fields, which automatically displays information or content that is unique to each pass user (e.g., employee ID number, affiliate link, or credit balance).
When thinking about designing your passes, ask yourself:
How should using our pass feel? (e.g., a sense of pride or exclusivity)
What do my users expect to see on our pass?
To take it a step further—What would delight our users?
These answers should be very clear in your pass. But it is essential to recognize that this is NOT something you must perfect at the beginning. Instead, take an iterative approach: First, focus on inviting users to a pass that is directionally correct, and then tweak it over time as you get user feedback. We promise you that getting actual users' responses is much more efficient than agonizing over small details with your internal team.
