Send messages that resonate with specific groups of pass holders by sending targeted push notifications. Get started by familiarizing yourself with Dynamic Fields and the process for setting Custom Attributes.


Getting Started:

  1. Identify Your Audience: Determine the common characteristic that defines your target group, such as membership tier or purchase history.

    Example: You aim to target VIP pass holders.


  2. Import Custom Attributes: If you haven’t already imported your Custom Attributes into Badge:

    • Go to the “Pass Details” page.

    • Click on “Add Users.”

    • Choose “Import CSV” to upload attributes from your CRM.

Pro-tip✨ : You can target users based on any imported Custom Attribute, even those not displayed on the pass itself.

Filtering by Custom Attributes

When you’re ready to launch a new Push Campaign:

  1. Select your pass template.

  2. Use the "Filter" function and choose the relevant Custom Attributes.

    Remember to use the exact formatting for attribute values as they appear in your database to ensure accurate targeting.

Example: For the pass template "Clover Bakery,"
filter by the Custom Attribute "tier" with the Value set to "VIP".
