Featured Actions are call-to-action buttons that appear on the front of your pass. They serve as a quick way to send pass holders somewhere useful, like reloading a balance, booking an appointment, or viewing offers.
You'll find them on the Front of Pass tab, below Barcode. You can set up Apple Wallet and Google Wallet separately, because each handles these buttons a little differently:
Apple Wallet shows up to two buttons, chosen from a preset list. Apple sets the icon and button text; you supply the link.
Google Wallet shows one button, and you control both its label and its link.
Apple Wallet
Apple Featured Actions appear on iOS 27 and later. On earlier versions, the buttons simply won't show.
To add one, click Add Action, pick an action type, and paste in the destination URL.
Each type comes with a fixed icon and label set by Apple, so you're really just choosing the action and the link it points to. There are twelve featured actions to choose from. In Apple Wallet, each action features an Icon, an Action Label and the text that describes the actions eg "View Schedule".
💡 Tip: The URL supports dynamic values, so you can personalize where the button sends each pass holder.
Google Wallet
Google Wallet shows a single Featured Action. Unlike Apple, you control both the button's label and its link.
To set it up, click Add Action in the Google Wallet subsection, enter a label and a destination URL, and save.
A few things to know:
Keep the label short, around 30 characters or less. Longer labels may be cut off.
The label and URL go together: set both, or leave both empty.
The URL supports dynamic values
If you've set an Android Package Name
If your pass has an Android Package Name configured, Google Wallet will link to your app instead of this URL. To use the Featured Action's URL, clear the package name first.
