What are Mobile Wallet Campaigns?

Campaigns are a powerful tool within the Badge platform that allow you to engage users with mobile wallet passes. Campaigns can help you increase user engagement, drive foot traffic to physical locations, and boost conversion rates.

Key Benefits of Campaigns:

  • Increased Engagement: Reach users with relevant and timely messages.

  • Targeted Communication: Send personalized notifications to specific user segments.

  • Improved Conversion Rates: Drive users to take desired actions, such as redeeming offers or attending events.

Types of Campaigns

  1. Standard Push Notification Campaigns

Standard Push Notification Campaigns are notifications sent directly from the wallet app (Google Wallet or Apple Wallet). When a user taps the notification:

    • Google Wallet: Users are directed to the front of the specific pass. They can then see a callout at the top of the screen with a "View Message" button, which, when clicked, takes them to the back of the pass where the notification content is displayed.

    • Apple Wallet: Users are directed to the pass associated with the notification. The notification content will be visible on the back of the pass as the top field.

This ensures a consistent user experience across both platforms, making it easy for users to access important information from notifications.

  2. Push Notification with Pass Change Campaigns

This type of campaign combines a push notification with a temporary change to the user's pass. You can set:

    • Start Date: When the notification is sent and the pass change is applied.

    • Expiration Date: When the pass reverts to its original state, as defined on the pass template page.

    • Change the cover image and pass fields.

    • Update barcode/QR code data and fields.

    • Add a back-of-pass field
